Brant has helped me through innumerable rehabs aches and pains etc. as well as keeping me in amazing shape as I get older. He is constantly updating and expanding his knowledge base on how to deal with a complete array of issues, injuries skeletal and muscular issues etc.
He is also on my case every moment of a workout to make sure I do my best and regularly ups the ante as appropriate. He really thinks outside the box
I've been meaning to post a review for some time but what really got me moving on it was our awesome workout this morning via FaceTime now that we are all (I hope) sheltering in place.
I recommend Muscle Mechanic with the utmost enthusiasm!

Brant is a miracle worker! When no other doctor, not even specialists at Mt. Sinai could relieve my back and hip pain, he found the source and the rest is history. His “hands on” approach has been life changing. And I’m not alone. He came highly recommended by two friends and I have referred friends who are also now fans!

Brant is extraordinary. He is the first person I recommend to anyone who is dealing with physical pain or mobility issues. I was hobbled with lower back issues, and within one session with Brant, my pain decreased 80%. Three months later, I'm feeling like a new person He's been a true lifesaver for me, and I wholeheartedly recommend seeing him.

Brant is the man. Knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly gets results. I love that he takes the time to get to the root issues and never rushes you and cares more about results and relief. Well worth the time and money.

Amazing skill and intuition in figuring out exactly your problem.
I complained about knees, he worked on back hips, pelvis and the knee issue went away. Great hands, great experience. I have recommended him to friends who have become devotees.

Brant Amundson has made a HUGE difference in the functioning of my 75-year-old body—and with amazing speed. He brings a profound level of focus and of caring, along with diverse skills, to his work. He has helped me more than all the doctors, acupuncturists and physical therapists I’ve ever known—singly and all together. WOW. Thanks.

If you’re lucky you get to work with a guy like Brandt once in a lifetime. He walks the walk—literally—and so will you. By far the most qualified expert on posture issues I’ve ever come across; where they come from and how to fix them. His technique is rooted in the simplicity of a searcher who has spent decades learning and perfecting his craft. Like all really great teachers he is down to earth, practical, warm and fun. You don’t need years of bodywork spinning your wheels and busting your gut trying to get out of pain and into balance; he will turn you around in a few sessions. Don’t take my word for it. Just go. You won’t regret it.

Brant’s work has helped me more than any other method for easing pain, in my case shoulder pain. His intuitive sense plus his practical exercise routines result in dramatic relief.
As a psychologist I have recommended him to several of my patients all of whom are very satisfied with their results.
I highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for alternative ways to treat structural or posture related physical problems.

Brant, the Muscle Mechanic, is very knowledgeable, quickly alleviating pain and improving range of motion in problem areas (back, hips). Just what was needed! And the exercises were so simple. What a relief.

Brant is one of the most knowledgeable and astute trainers/body worker/physical therapist I have ever worked with. He got me back up and running after an ACL transplant ahead of the curve and to the astonishment of my surgeon. And has rescued me when my back has seized twice. He is my go to for mobility health. No one better!

Brant was recommended by a good acupuncturist whose sessions were not helping my arthritic knees, aching legs, increasingly hunched posture as much as I had hoped. Reading about Muscle Activation Therapy raised lots of questions for me, but Brant's first demonstrations and manipulations had immediate and palpable effect. After more than a year of weekly sessions, then monthly, I'm feeling stronger, standing straighter, seeing and moving better on and off the tennis court. Count me a believer.

I've been to Brant before for an introductory session, and was blown away. He was able to fix alignment issues I thought couldn't be fixed, in minutes! And the effects were lasting. I recently saw him again for a knee I twisted in a freak sidewalk accident. It was hurting a lot and getting worse. I wasn't able to bend it or sit with my legs crossed or squat, or kneel sitting on my heels. I figured it was just an ice it, and let it heel and leave it alone kind of injury. But after seeing Brant-- I am not kidding- it is back to new! No BS. I am writing this now-- this was two days ago I went to see him--There is zero pain in that knee. The residual soreness in the calf and lower leg are completely gone. And I have full mobility in the knee. It's weird, because it's so fast-- this technique he uses. And I'm always amazed that there is no deep painful process. There's a clever science behind it that he has explained to me before, but I don't honestly remember what it is. It doesn't' matter. All I care is that it works. My body is functioning properly again. And I'm pain free. Totally amazing.

I had a herniated disc, excruciating sciatica and eventually a microdiscectomy of my L5/S1 at the age of 49. Operation was a success but in the years after as I tried to get back to my former fitness level I strained lower back muscles to the point of hypertonia and it seemed I got weaker and weaker over time, even as I kept up my usual activities including yoga biking& skiing. Tried every kind of body work: PT, ART ,massage, acupuncture, but nothing worked. By 52 years old I figured all my parts' warranties were expired until I met Brant. The way he analyzed my weakness pinpointed the exact deep interior muscles that needed help. I was totally skeptical of some of the MAT & Posturology methods (including weird little electronic squares I was supposed to tape to my soles). I stuck with his protocol and saw him 5 times in 3 weeks and saw a BIG difference. I learned so much, including how some of my yoga was undermining my progress. Brant has great hands and an even better mind. He is curious, knowledgeable, flexible with scheduling & very easy to work with. I booked another 5 to take care of some other issues and Brant continues to impress me as we rebuild my body. I highly recommend seeing him for any mechanical body problem.

I don't know what I would have done without Muscle Mechanic. I had no health insurance and had to wait for Medicare to kick in before having a hip replacement surgery. Brant kept me going for almost 2 years, minimizing pain and increasing function until I had the surgery.
